After last nights address, where, for the first time,we really got to appreciate that the US has a real president, the polls are in and they are telling us one thing – Trump is winning.

A CNN poll showed that:

  • 57% of Americans who watched had a very positive reaction to the speech, whilst another 21% had a somewhat positive reaction to it, adding up to 78% overall positive.
  • Nearly 7 out of 10 said Trump’s policies moved country in right direction.
  • About 7 out of 10 said the speech made them feel more optimistic about the future direction of America.
  • 72% said Trump’s economic policies were in the right direction, 70% supported his policies on combat terrorism, 64% on taxes and 62% on immigration

CNN must have been crying in their soup having to release the figures, but at least hats off to them for being honest about it.  They could have just made it up (like they normally do?)

I don’t know who Trump has brought in to help him with his delivery, but who ever it is, they need a medal.  Trump was pretty rough and raw, and whilst the words were good, the delivery was frequently off.  There was a marked improvement at CPAC, however, in the Congress address he really hit the presidential nail on the head.

President Trump as arrived and he is going to keep winning.
